Shade Match Sleeve - Purchase, Shipping & Refund Policy

1. Purchase Eligibility
1.1 Product Description
The Shade-Match Sleeve (the “Sleeve”) contains 4 trial sachets:
3 tinted sunscreen shades selected by the customer at checkout, and
1 sachet of the Atypiical 3-in-1 Hybrid Sunscreen.
The Sleeve is sold at a fixed price of ₹140 (inclusive of all applicable taxes). This price is permanent and is not subject to discounts or promotional pricing. Sachets are multi-use trial samples and are not single-use only.
1.2 Who Can Purchase
The Sleeve is available for purchase to any individual who:
Has a valid delivery address within India, and
Has access to a valid payment method accepted on atypiical.in.
The Sleeve is available to all eligible customers without any prior purchase requirement. It is designed primarily as a shade-matching tool for the Atypiical Tinted Sunscreen but may be purchased by any customer who wishes to trial either product.
1.3 Credit Toward Full-Size Purchase
The ₹140 paid for the Sleeve is credited in full toward any full-size Atypiical product purchase on atypiical.in, subject to the following:
The credit is valid for 3 months from the date of Sleeve purchase.
It is applied at checkout on atypiical.in and is valid only on the same account or contact used to purchase the Sleeve.
It is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be applied on any third-party platform (including Amazon or Nykaa).
The credit applies once per Sleeve purchase.
Note: The ₹140 is non-refundable except as provided in Section 3. The credit reduces the outstanding amount payable at checkout and does not constitute a discount on the full-size product’s listed price.
1.4 Purchase Restrictions
Atypiical reserves the right to cancel or decline any order that:
Is placed using a fraudulent, invalid, or unverifiable payment method.
Is placed to a delivery address outside of India, or
Appears to be a bulk, commercial, or resale purchase.
In the event of an order cancellation by Atypiical under this section, a full refund of ₹140 will be issued to the original payment method within 7–9 business days.
2. Shipping
2.1 Dispatch Timeline
Sleeve orders will be dispatched within 3–5 business days of order confirmation. Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding national public holidays in India. Customers will be notified via email or WhatsApp upon dispatch.
2.2 Estimated Delivery Timeline
Once dispatched, estimated delivery timelines are:
Metro cities: 2–4 business days.
Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities: 4–7 business days.
Remote or rural areas: 7–10 business days.
These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Atypiical is not liable for delays caused by the courier partner, force majeure events, or any circumstances beyond Atypiical’s reasonable control.
2.3 Order Tracking
A tracking number will be shared via email or WhatsApp upon dispatch. Customers are responsible for monitoring their delivery using the details provided.
2.4 Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails due to the customer being unavailable or having provided an incorrect or incomplete address:
The courier may attempt re-delivery per their standard procedure.
If the order is returned to Atypiical as undeliverable, re-shipping charges will be borne by the customer for any subsequent delivery attempt.
Atypiical is not liable for failed deliveries resulting from an incorrect address submitted by the customer.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 No Refunds
The Sleeve is a consumable personal care trial product. All sales are final. The ₹140 purchase price is non-refundable except in the specific circumstances set out in Sections 3.2 and 3.3 below. No returns of opened or used sachets will be accepted under any circumstances.
This policy is consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which permit a no-refund policy for consumable personal care products where this policy is clearly disclosed prior to purchase.
3.2 Exception — Damaged or Defective Product
Atypiical will offer a free replacement if the customer receives a Sleeve that is:
Physically damaged in transit (e.g., crushed, punctured, or torn packaging), or
Defective upon receipt (e.g., leaking sachets, incomplete contents, or incorrect shades delivered contrary to the confirmed order).
To be eligible, the customer must:
Report the issue to info@atypiical.in within 48 hours of delivery, and
Provide clear photographic or video evidence of the damaged or defective product and outer packaging as received.
Upon verification, Atypiical will dispatch a replacement Sleeve at no additional cost. No cash refund will be issued under this section. Replacements are subject to stock availability.
Claims submitted beyond the 48-hour window or without adequate supporting evidence will not be eligible for a replacement. Atypiical reserves the right to assess each claim individually.
3.3 Exception — Non-Delivery
If an order is confirmed as lost in transit by the courier partner, Atypiical will offer a replacement Sleeve or a full refund of ₹140 at Atypiical’s discretion. Customers must report non-delivery within 14 days of the estimated delivery date to be eligible.
3.4 No Cancellations
All Sleeve orders are final upon placement. Order cancellations are not accepted. Please review your shade selections carefully before completing your purchase.
3.5 Refund Processing
All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–9 business days from the date of approval. Atypiical is not responsible for delays caused by the customer’s bank or third-party payment processor.
3.6 Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory rights a customer may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. In the event of any inconsistency between this policy and applicable law, applicable law shall prevail.
